Ricardo has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management. For eight years he worked for the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez where he acquired experience in grant writing, fundraising, grant management and compliance. In 2007, Ricardo began working with the National Clearinghouse for Science Technology and Law (NCSTL) at Stetson University College of Law where he served as Grant Compliance Manager. In 2012 while at Stetson College of Law, Ricardo also served as Human Resources Coordinator while providing grant compliance services for NCSTL. Ricardo then joined the Forensic Medicine Division at the University of Florida were he has been since 2012. He currently serves as the Operations Manager for the District 8 Medical Examiner Office while providing support to the W.R. Maples Center, UF Pathlabs Forensic Toxicology Laboratory, UF Racing Laboratory and the Florida Emergency Mortuary Operations Response System.
