Patrick Linderleaf is from Northern Michigan (Traverse City). He began his career as an autopsy technician for the Grand Traverse Medical Examiner Office. He received his official forensic training with Steven Coles, M.D., in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Patrick worked full time with them for approximately 8 years before moving south (warmer climate) and went to work with organ and tissue organizations doing donor recoveries as a Senior Recovery Coordinator for over 21 years and still doing autopsy technician work part time. Being a forensic autopsy technician is an exciting experience and Patrick is proud to be part of the forensic group. He received certifications in Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) and American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) in 1997; Eye Bank Certification in 1998 as well as certification to do heart and vein recovery for transplant of valves and vein recovery to be used in bypass surgery.
